Tucson police are asking the public's help in locating a man suspected of robbing the bank branch inside Fry's on West Irvington Road on April 28.

Detectives have identified the robber as Kyle J. Neufang, 20, and are circulating a surveillance photograph and Neufang’s driver’s license photo because they don’t have a current address for him, said Sgt. Mark Robinson, a police spokesman.

The robbery occurred about 2 p.m. at the Wells Fargo branch inside Fry’s, 902 W. Irvington Road. The robber entered the bank and presented the teller with a note. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash and left the bank on foot, Robinson said.

Robinson wouldn’t comment on what the note said, whether a weapon was implied or threatened or how detectives identified Neufang as the suspect.

Neufang is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.

Anyone with information about Neufang’s whereabouts should call 911 or 88-CRIME.
