Will Sutton -

Arizona State senior defensive tackle

Height, weight: 6-foot-1, 288 pounds

Previous rank: No. 7

His case: Though the Sun Devils are 4-2, it hasn't been the defense driving that case. Sutton demands double teams every down, but he still drops out of the top 12 based on the following: Before holding bottom-feeder Colorado to 13 points on Saturday (Oct. 12), the Sun Devils allowed 42, 41 and 37 points in a 1-2 stretch against Stanford (loss), USC (win) and Notre Dame (loss). And he has just 2.5 tackles for loss and one sack in five games.

What we said before the season: The reigning Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year might also be the nation's best big man. He had 13 sacks last season before deciding to return to school rather than be a sure-fire first-round NFL draft pick. He was ASU's first defensive player to be named a consensus first-team All-American since Terrell Suggs in 2002.
