The Sooners eliminated Arizona from the NCAA tournament three times (1988, 1999, 2002), including a Final Four and a Sweet 16. The connection to those three exits: defense. Arizona shot just 39 percent overall against the Sooners, including Steve Kerr’s heartbreaking 2-for-13 total at the 1988 Final Four.
