I hope we all can take to heart the Albert Einstein quote the Star used as its 2018 New Year's greeting: "Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is to not stop questioning". Text at the bottom added, "may the answers to your questions give you hope for tomorrow."

What better example than the lead story of Norma Santos Trujillo and her pursuit of life and happiness. She represents the "Basic 3 of Life" —

accept (this is reality), adapt (find healthy methods of coping), and advance (learn from the past to which you cannot return, tomorrow never comes, but you have today.) May we all make the most of 2018 in our efforts to accept, adapt and advance.
