Re: the Jan. 11 article "Boom in Tucson's Airbnb market turning rentals into hot property."
Jeremiah Inn B&B was built and established in 1995 in NE Tucson by my husband and me, and we have a great story. AirBnB and VRBO have re-written the book. Licensed and inspected by Pima County Health Department, Arizona State Corporation Commission and Department of Revenue as well as carrying appropriate business insurance makes Jeremiah Inn a contributor to the community. How do short term rentals aid the economy and enhance their neighborhoods? I was very disappointed with spokesman, Dan Gibson of VisitTucson. The support for the tourism industry comes from lodging members and the Bed tax. What do others think?
