Re: the Nov. 28 article "Lawsuit aims at stopping Rosemont."

I am saddened by the news regarding the approval of Rosemont Mine, opening up a beautiful, vital eco-system to the possibility, quite real, of being sullied by contaminants such as arsenic. The jaquar, a species, whose existence is already imperiled could have its habitat destroyed. At a time when so many of our wild lands are being threatened, when the president wants to diminish the size of some of our national Parks, at a time when so much of the earth is suffering from environmental degradation, shouldn't a priority be, to preserve fresh water, & land where wild creatures can live & thrive, & where future generations can enjoy the beauty & diversity of preserved lands?
