The math indicates that the recently completed solar project has a payback of 34 years from electricity savings. Let's treat the install as an iconic attraction and get $5 from each of the passengers that comes through TUS every year. That could be cut payback to one year. There after both the electricity saving and the attraction revenue would be gravy. Maybe fix every road the heads in that direction.
