Throughout the Congressional summer recess and ever since, Rep. Martha McSally has been pretty much removed from her constituency. Apparently she feels more comfortable ignoring the public and planning the financing of her next election campaign.
Two-year terms aren't conducive these days. It looks like they foster six months of (half-assed) representation and 18 months of campaigning. No results required — just hot air.
Tucson needs a representative whose concern is the welfare and long range interests of the Tucson community, regardless of political liability.
Concern for the greater good of any constituency should far outweigh personal political gain. This is NOT the case with McSally
