Ken Rineer's argument falls apart when he says the shooter in Las Vegas "used an automatic rifle" and "such firearms are heavily regulated." The shooter used a semi-automatic rifle that he had modified with a device called a "bump stock" which allowed the rifle to mimic a fully automatic weapon. I'll bet there are no regulations regarding modifications with a "bump stock" device. I'm also guessing there are not regulations of semi-automatic weapons like the ones for fully automatic weapons. It's time for more regulations of guns in this country and more health care for psychologically impaired individuals.
