To the people who can do something about our mass shootings: Please stop using the phrase "Our (or my) thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and loved ones..." It's been so overused as to render it almost useless. It has no effect on the continuing slaughter and I doubt it brings much comfort to the wounded and bereaved. Those who can do something are our president, Congress, governors and state legislatures They must stop wringing their hands about mentally ill people with guns and do something about it! They must stop the proliferation of military like weaponry! They must stop the sale of accessories that convert legal weapons to automatic firing! Action is long overdue, so stop listening to the minority and do something! We've seen enough of these slaughters!
