In 2017, the US House of Representatives met fewer than 150 days. That means Rep. Martha McSally had more than 200 days on which she could have met publicly with her constituents. But she didn’t. She had exactly one town hall last year which she was shamed into holding by local activists. Her recent newsletter claims a number of constituent meetings, but these were all with carefully screened groups or fundraisers. She says she's hiking the Arizona Trail. I guess we better start hiking if we want a chance for a public meeting with our reclusive so-called “representative.”
