One point that should not be overlooked about the failure of "trickle-down economics" is the importance of human infrastructure development. The social support that allows for imaginative ideas to evolve and be nurtured into industrial and social development is as critical as the monetary investment.

Stable parenting, including moral guidance and education programs for all, is a foundation needing strong support. The culture of every business that continually nurtures excellence of performance enhances this process. Assuming that those possessing monetary wealth will, by nature, stimulate this entire infrastructure has not been seen as historically valid. The "trickle-down model" is not optimal for the best use of capital in strengthening our nation in the global competitive markets.
