Re: the Dec. 3 article "Vail schools consider putting up tiny homes for teachers."

Why provide tiny homes? Why waste ANY taxpayer money on (non-essential) educators at all? Let's just hit up the local Habit for Humanity branch and see what they can do for the teachers here. Better yet! There's actually a fairly populous homeless community nearby and the weather here IS always beautiful! Arizona shouldn't feel the need to pay teachers a livable wage! After all, educating our future leaders isn't nearly as critical as making sure you get the correct order in the drive-thru at Taco Bell!

Hmmmm... Arizona schools rank 51st in the nation (out of 50 states, I might add) and teacher salaries are 49th. Coincidence?! I think not. Here's a scandalous idea: PAY THE TEACHERS!!!
