Re: the Nov. 29 article "TUSD pouring resources into school to solve discipline woes."

The article about the discipline problems at Booth-Fickett School are easy to stop. Have a detention room or rooms for problem students. Have TUSD Superintendent Trujillo in charge of this detention room. Nobody knows what it is like to be in a classroom but a teacher. Until you have been in a classroom as a teacher, you have NO IDEA what it is like. Let the Superintendent see what it is like. Why take a survey? Everyone knows there is a problem. Get in a classroom and make progress. Send the people that sent the survey. Send people form 1010 to teach in a classroom. Let them earn their pay in a classroom. I'll bet the people at 1010 make more money than a classroom teacher. Let all TUSD administrators have a couple of weeks in a classroom at Booth-Fickett. I retired after 31 years teaching classroom. I have seen many changes. We are teaching children. Who is n charge???
