The Tucson Unified School District board met on Tuesday, May 3, to discuss the Ethnic Studies courses. Hundreds of parents, teachers and students attended the meeting. There were disruptions and arrests. The board delayed a vote on the issue.

Tucson Police Chief Roberto Villaseñor said he was satisfied with the way his officers handled Tuesday night's TUSD board meeting. "I think they performed in a very professional manner," Villaseñor said.
