Police mug shots

Hector Sandoval, 23 (pictured), and Ruben Sanchez-Bustamante, 27, were booked into the Pinal County jail July 10, 2013, and face charges of identity theft, possession of stolen property, trafficking in stolen property and fraudulent schemes. During a traffic stop a Pinal County sheriff’s deputy found in their vehicle fake IDs and a dozen Home Depot gift cards valued at $250 apiece. An investigation revealed they were part of an organization based out of Mexico that uses fake coded credit cards and false ID to buy gift cards and other merchandise to sell in. Sandoval was arrested two months ago in California in connection with the use of fraudulent credit cards to purchase thousands of dollars in merchandise.
