Sal Anthony Olmos, 19, of Mesa, was shot March 17, 2014, when he and two other men went to a home in the 2600 block of West Canyon Street in Apache Junction, at about 8:20 p.m. in what Olmos admitted was an attempt to collect a debt. He was booked into the Pinal County jail for attempted first-degree burglary, shooting into an occupied structure, misconduct involved weapons, possession of a dangerous drug and four counts of aggravated assault.
