Cesar Chavez, 21, was caught outside a home on Tucson’s south side around 4:30 a.m. Sept. 14, 2013. Chavez was injured as the homeowner tried to subdue and detain him before sheriff’s deputies arrived. Chavez was booked into the Pima County jail and faces two counts of third degree burglary, and one count each of attempted second-degree burglary and attempted auto theft. Since 2009 Chavez has been found guilty at least 10 times in Tucson City Court on charges including: under-aged drinking, possession of drug paraphernalia, graffiti, criminal damage, criminal trespass and shoplifting.
