BEYOND: Main Event: Together We Move! — Armory Park, 200 S. Sixth Ave. Jazzercise at noon. Flash Mob at 1 p.m. Zumba-fest or ballroom dancing at 2 p.m. Nutrition classes and cooking demonstrations. Rock climbing, jumping castles, spider trampolines, jump roping, table tennis, shuffleboard, bocce, yoga and tai chi. Sign up for health insurance and learn about community resources. BEYOND in Your Neighborhood — Habitat for Humanity — Santa Maria site, West Santa Maria Street and South Calle Pinta. An urban hike along the west side of the Sunnyside neighborhood. 8 a.m.-noon. 326-1217, Ext. 219.

Buffelgrass and Brew: A BEYOND celebration at “A” Mountain — “A” Mountain, 1000 S. Sentinel Peak Road. Help remove this invasive species that threatens to destroy public lands. Volunteers provided with the tools and free water and lunch. Go to beyond-tucson.org to sign up to volunteer. Buffelgrass pull from 8 a.m. to noon. Take a hike on the new trails at Sentinel Peak Park from 8 a.m. to sunset. Samples from Sentinel Peak Brewing Co. (for those age 21 and above) from noon to 1:30 p.m. 837-4263.

Town of Marana: Wild Burro Trailhead Hike — Wild Burro Trailhead, Tortolita Mountains, 14810 N. Secret Springs Drive, Marana. The trail is a three-mile loop with an elevation gain of 300 feet. Wear hiking boots or sturdy shoes with traction; bring 2 quarts of water and a snack. 8-11 a.m. 382-1950.

Colossal Du — Is it tougher than you? — Colossal Cave Mountain Park, 16721 E. Old Spanish Trail, Vail. A 5K run, a 12-mile bike course, and finishes with a two-mile run. 8-11 a.m. $70. 979-8676

Hike BEYOND at Sabino Canyon, Coronado National Forest — Sabino Canyon Recreation Area, 5700 N. Sabino Canyon Road. A Junior Ranger Program at 9 a.m. The Sabino Canyon Volunteer Naturalists and Santa Catalina Volunteer Patrol will lead nature hikes at 9, 10 and 11 a.m. Also, an art station where children can paint their experience of the canyon. Arizona Game and Fish will host an interactive wildlife table and Smokey Bear will make an appearance. 8 a.m.-2 p.m. 749-7705.

BEYOND: Oro Valley Hikes in Rememberance — Catalina State Park, 11570 N. Oracle Road. Meet at 8:30 a.m. in the Chase Bank parking lot, across from the entrance to the park, and receive a wristband for discounted admission. Two choices of hiking distances: the Canyon Loop trail, three-mile loop; and Southerland Trail to Southerland Wash, 5.2 miles round trip. Hikers also may meet at trailhead at 9 a.m. 229-5050.

Stroll & Roll with GRIN (Grandparents in Residence) — Christina-Taylor Green Memorial River Park, Shannon and Magee road. A 3.1-mile loop. Bring your running shoes, your baby stroller, your wheelchair, your roller skates, your family and your friends. 8-11 a.m.

Five-Mile Social Run — Saguaro National Park West, 2700 N. Kinney Road. Run will not be officially timed, and there will be no awards or posted results, but participants must register at azroadrunners.org. Limited to 400 participants. Strollers are allowed, but route is sandy; oversized wheels are recommended. Presented by the National Park Service and the Southern Arizona Roadrunners. 8:30-10:30 a.m. 990-7938.

BEYOND Sports Extravaganza at Sporting Chance Center — 2100 W. Curtis Road. Open play, games and competitions in basketball and volleyball. Also, walk around Curtis Park and the Rillito River Park. 9 a.m.-noon. 888-1288.

Day of Discovery in Colossal Cave Mountain Park — 16721 E. Old Spanish Trail, Vail. Discovery Tours. At 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., a free guided walk on the Path of the Ancestors Archaeology Trail, an easy one-mile walk through lands that were inhabited by the Hohokam Indians. Also, hands-on activities. 11 a.m.-3 p.m. $5 park use fee for up to six people. 647-7275.

Gabe Zimmerman Davidson Canyon Trailhead Hike/Ride — 16000 E. Marsh Station Road, Vail. Hike or bike for a few hours, then meet back at the trailhead for refreshments. Activities along the way. 9:30 a.m.-noon. 404-7992.

Kidical Mass — Family Friendly Bicycle Ride — Armory Park, 200 S. Sixth Ave. Safe and fun ride around downtown Tucson neighborhoods for all ages. Free youth bike helmets and fittings for ages under 18. Noon-1:30 p.m. 261-8777.

Free Day at Children’s Museum for BEYOND — Children’s Museum Tucson, 200 S. Sixth Ave. Health and wellness activities. At 12:15 p.m. Tucson Twist-it’s. At 1 p.m., TUSD magnet school performers — Elementary students will showcase their musical and dance talents. At 2 p.m., Children Carrying the Sound. Noon-3 p.m. 792-9985.

BEYOND Storytelling — Valley of the Moon, 2544 E. Allen Road. Puppets, storytelling, readings, songs and seed planting. 3-7 p.m. 323-1331.

Meet Me at Maynards/La Encantada Walk/Run — Armory Park, 200 S. Sixth Ave. Walk takes same route at Meet Me at Maynards but begins at Armory Park. Register before 3 p.m. Event: 3-4 p.m. 548-3741.
