Protesting religious freedom bill

Clergy members Beth Rambikur, left, with First United Methodist Church, Janessa Chastain, middle, with St Paul's United Methodist and Karen Vannoy, the district superintendent over all Methodist churches in Southern Arizona, gather at Wingspan in support of a march downtown. More than 200 marchers walked from the Wingspan office along North Fourth Avenue to the Governor's office at 400 W Congress St. to rally against the State Legislature's passage of the "religious freedom bill." Supporters of the rally, including elected officials and clergy, are urging Gov. Jan Brewer to veto the bill. Local business leaders are also not in favor of the bill which is the first of its kind in the country citing it is bad for business development. The photo was taken on Friday, February 21, 2014, in Tucson, Ariz.
