Garlick was arrested and charged with lying to investigators, Monday, Dec.16, 2013 in Debary, Fla. Garlick, 53, was charged with two misdemeanors knowingly giving false information to law enforcement during an investigation and resisting an officer without violence after, under further questioning, he admitted the baby belonged to his girlfriend, although he isn't the father, officials said. He was booked into the Volusia County Jail and faces bail of up to $5,000.
