North Fourth Avenue gets into the Oktoberfest spirit (like they did in Madrid in the above photo) this Saturday, with its inaugural 4thtoberfest, a multi-venue craft beer and music celebration.

For $15, you get a 5-ounce logo glass and eight drink tickets redeemable for one discounted 5-ounce nickel pour each (don't forget to bring 8 nickels with you, so says the event's website).

Participating musicians include Billy Sedlmayr at the Coronet, Leila Lopez Band at the Surly Wench, Santa Pachita at Flycatcher, Hank Topless at Mr. Heads and Joyriot at Sky bar.

Borderlands, Dragoon, Public Brewhouse, Pueblo Vida, Sentinel Peak and Thunder Canyon will all be represented.

A portion of the proceeds benefits KXCI community radio.

The fun runs from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at, or the day-of at Flycatcher, Mr. Heads, and Skybar.
