Save the Animals Arts and Crafts Festival

During the Save the Animals Arts and Crafts Festival Friday at the Marana Marketplace, 3850 W. River Road Sunday, Bill Zaffer looks over some of the whimsical recycled-metal work of Marty Callender, who operates Wiggles Wobbles & Moans. Callender, a retired firefighter, creates affordable critters from discarded metal. Hosted by Pima Paws for Life and Art Attack Promotions, the free three-day arts-and-crafts festival was an opportunity for vendors to sell items and shoppers could rescue a pet or make a food or cash donation to help homeless animals.
