A dilapidated bus fleet and a lack of drivers has resulted in Sunnyside Unified School District students arriving late for school. Last month, Superintendent Manuel L. Isquierdo told the district's governing board that between 10 and 20 buses are late in dropping off children at school because of breakdowns and that other bus drivers have to be diverted to pick up the additional routes.
