At Fountain Hills, after a scoreless first quarter, Empire (9-1,
5-1) and Fountain Hills (8-2, 6-0) traded leads until a last-second
field goal by Empire forced the overtime period. Each team scored a
touchdown in overtime, but Empire's conversion attempt failed,
ending its perfect season.
