Christy Ivie, wife of slain Border Patrol Agent Nicholas Ivie, carries daughter Raigan, center, and follows the casket out of the LDS meetinghouse in Sierra Vista. An aunt holds the Ivies' other daughter, Presley, at right.
The tamed mustang "Mouse" that Nicholas Ivie rode in the Border Patrol walked with an empty saddle and Ivie's boots in the stirrups. A horse-led procession brought Ivie's body from a Sierra Vista funeral home.
Nicholas Ivie's brother, father and other family members were among the many at the funeral. Ivie died Tuesday when he was shot in what federal investigators believe was an accidental exchange of gunfire at night.
