Arthur J. Walker, 79, Part of Family Espionage Ring

Arthur J. Walker, a retired Navy officer who in 1985 was convicted as part of a family espionage ring that stole military documents and then sold the information to Soviet agents, died Monday in a federal prison in Butner, North Carolina, where he was serving a life sentence. He was 79.
