A paving machine lays down concrete for the new eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 at Prince Road. Project manager Jeremy Moore said the Interstate 10 widening project between Ruthrauff and Prince roads will help alleviate congestion by late this year or early next year.
The intersection of West Prince Road and Interstate 10 is almost ready to get a major overhaul to eliminate the perennial traffic tie-ups and the potential safety hazard as trains cross through and stall traffic on Prince.

beginning in March, West Prince Road will be closed at Interstate
10 for two years while the freeway is widened from three lanes to
four between Prince and West Ruthrauff roads.
