The Marana Town Council filled a vacancy on the Utilities
Citizen Advisory Commission, met the town's new police chief and
issued a proclamation in celebration of a local Pee Wee football
team at a short meeting Jan. 4.

Marana is a step closer to offering an annual volunteerism award
named after longtime town booster Ora Mae Harn, who died last
summer, and the town officially has a new police chief starting in
January, following the Dec. 7 Town Council meeting.
