Tucson Waldorf School will show a free screening of the documentary.
The Tucson Waldorf School is opening its doors to give the public a look at its arts-based curriculum.
Children and parents listen as enrollment director Rebecca Briamonte discusses the Tucson Waldorf School, 3349 E. Presidio Road. Last Saturday's gathering also included a puppet play, which spotlighted the school's focus, integrating art, music, movement and hands-on learning into all subjects.
Teacher Nicole Williams helped with the puppet play, based on "The Little Boy who Wanted to be Carried Along All the Time."
A shepherd puppet, with animals, was part of the show. The felted wool creations were made by nursery teacher Andrea Fiser.
Mother-and-son puppets also were part of the performance. The show accented the school's creative learning focus.
