Well, this is it, race week! For the past two months you’ve been making changes to your life: Eating better, exercising more often, and keeping your private commitment to complete a goal. These are important things, aren’t they? In today’s busy world, it’s not easy to make a commitment to ch…
Over the past month, we’ve given strategies and tips for learning how to walk or run a 5K. We’ve discussed making goals, eating well, staying healthy and handling the creeping Tucson heat. Today, we’ll look at a five-step path for making these changes long-lasting.
Some people blame global warming for the recent trend of Tucson getting hotter and hotter earlier and earlier in the year. Others just blame the TMC Meet Me Downtown 5K Night Run and Walk.

Most runners eventually experience a point in time when everything seems to be running smoothly then suddenly (ugh!) an injury shows up out of nowhere. An injury is a sign of a physical breakdown that often occurs after a period of running harder, farther, on different terrain, or in worn-out shoes.
