GLENDALE - With their competition for the final three playoff spots in the Western Conference all idle Sunday, a golden opportunity to climb the standings dangled in front of the Phoenix Coyotes.
PHOENIX - With the postseason not set to start until Saturday
for the Diamondbacks, the next couple of days will be spent by the
team's management fine-tuning the roster and completing last-minute
homework for a playoff push.
Diamondbacks President and CEO Derrick Hall and closer J.J. Putz
