Pop McKale’s 1921 Wildcats lost 38-0 to Centre College of Kentucky on a sloppy field in the 1921 East-West Christmas Classic Bowl in San Diego. The Wildcats had outscored opponents 418-30 coming into the game, including a 110-0 win over New Mexico Military Junior College.
