Fleetwood Mac

Aug. 27, 1977, Arizona Stadium. It was the biggest concert ever held at the stadium: 57,000 people. It would be 32 years before UA officials allowed another stadium concert: Rapper Jay-Z.

Rolling Stones

Nov. 8, 2006, University of Phoenix Stadium. Mick Jagger and the boys wowed 40,000 people in the first-ever concert at the then spanking-new Arizona Cardinals stadium.

Frank Sinatra

Sept. 17, 1988, Arizona State University. Ol' Blue Eyes brought along pals Liza Minnelli and Sammy Davis Jr. for "The Ultimate Event," a concert that hit his career highlights.

Barbra Streisand

March 20, 1986, ASU Sun Devil Stadium. The "Star Is Born" concert promoted her blockbuster rock-opera movie, which was filmed largely in Tucson. Tickets were $3.50.

Elvis Presley

Sept. 9, 1970, Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Some 13,300 people turned out for the show, which kicked off Elvis' first tour since October 1957.
