The Oregon Ducks scored all of their runs in the final four innings to defeat the Arizona Wildcats 6-1 in Eugene, Oregon, on Friday night.

The Wildcats (18-26, 7-15 Pac-12) have lost six of their last seven games and have not won a conference series opener since March 14.

UA starter James Farris (4-6) gave up six hits and four runs, three earned, with just one walk and eight strikeouts.

The UA bats managed just five singles and a double in the loss.

Oregon broke the scoreless tie in the fifth inning when Shaun Chase hit a solo homer, the first of two he had in the game. Later in the inning, Mark Karaviotis singled in a run.

The Ducks (32-13, 11-8) added two more in the seventh before Chase’s two-run shot completed their scoring in the eighth.

Tommy Thorpe (7-4) limited the UA to five hits over 7º innings.
