Seton Hall completed a sweep of the University of Arizona Sunday by winning the resumption of Saturday’s suspended game 4-2 and then clubbing the Wildcats 11-2 in the afternoon.

Seton Hall, 7-2, became the first nonconference opponent to sweep the Wildcats in three games since Arizona moved to Hi Corbett Field in 2012. The Pirates won 9-1 Friday.

The last time Arizona, 6-5, dropped three games at home against a nonconference opponent was in 2009 against Georgia at Frank Sancet Stadium.

In the last game of the series on Sunday, Seton Hall pounded out 15 hits, five of them for extra bases. Arizona used eight pitchers.
