The Arizona Wildcats baseball team salvaged a split of a two-game series with Utah Valley, winning 14-5 on Wednesday afternoon at Hi Corbett Field.

The No. 10-ranked Wildcats (8-2) led 4-2 before breaking the game open with six runs in the fifth inning.

UA's Brandon Dixon went 3 for 3 with a homer and three RBIs. Riley Moore, Johnny Field, Trent Gilbert and Sam Parris all had two hits apiece for Arizona.

Cody Moffett picked up the win, allowing two earned runs in 5 1/3 innings.

Arizona had 14 hits and drew seven walks against Utah Valley (4-5).
