The Arizona Wildcats’ reign as No. 1 is officially over.

Baseball America released its preseason Top 25 this morning and coach Andy Lopez’s team is slotted in at No. 24.

The Wildcats, who begin full-squad workouts Friday, finished 48-17 last season and ranked No. 1 in every poll after winning the national title.

Arizona is one of five Pac-12 teams ranked. Oregon State is the top-ranked team at No. 6. Others ranked are: Stanford (No. 9); UCLA (No. 12) and Oregon (No. 15).

Arizona’s non-conference schedule doesn’t include any teams in the preseason rankings.

The Wildcats open the season Feb. 15 at home against Coppin State.
