Starter Austin Schnabel lasted just four-plus innings and Arizona’s bats managed only five hits as the Wildcats lost 8-0 to Washington on Sunday in Seattle.

The Wildcats (11-15, 1-5 Pac-12) have lost six straight.

Schnabel (0-3) gave up seven hits and five runs. The freshman right-hander left after giving up a double and a single to start Washington’s five-run fifth.

Later in the inning, Branden Berry doubled in two runs and Brian Wolfe belted a three-run homer.

UW’s Jeff Brigham (4-0) gave up three hits and a walk while striking out four in six innings.

The Wildcats were 0 for 11 with runners in scoring position and 0 for 15 with runners on base.

UA reliever Tyler Parmenter had a career-high seven strikeouts in three innings.
