Sophomore right-hander Tyger Talley limited Utah to five hits and a run over seven innings as the Arizona Wildcats defeated the Utes 5-2 Sunday in Salt Lake City.
Arizona (14-19, 4-8 Pac-12) took the last two of the weekend’s three games against Utah (10-19, 1-11) to win its first series since March 12.
Making his debut in the weekend rotation, Talley (1-0) allowed just two walks. He limited the Utes to one hit with runners on base.
