Arizona Wildcats pitchers gave up just 10 hits and did not allow a walk over 18 innings Sunday as the UA swept a doubleheader from Alcorn State at Hi Corbett Field.

Cody Hamlin pitched a five-hitter, and eight Wildcats had two or more hits in a 20-1 victory in the first game. The sophomore transfer (2-0) struck out five.

In the nightcap, Tyler Crawford and two relievers limited the Braves (0-8) to five hits as Arizona (6-2) completed the series sweep with an 11-1 win.

The Wildcats outscored Alcorn State 37-1 in the three-game series.

After getting 19 hits in the first game, the Wildcats came back with 20 hits in the second game Sunday.

Scott Kingery went 5 for 8 with four RBIs in the doubleheader.

Bobby Dalbec, who went 3 for 7 on the day, hit his second homer of the season in the first game.
