At Nogales, the Apaches (7-2) scored 42 first-half points on their way to a victory over the Chargers (0-9).

The shutout was the fourth of the season for the Nogales' defense, and the offense surpassed 50 points for the fifth time.

• Highlight reel: Nogales defensive end Justin Felix came up with two defensive TDs. The first came on a tipped ball interception and the second on a blocked FG.

• Player of the game: Apache senior signal caller Marcel Renteria was an efficient 7 of 11 passing for 158 yards with three TDs and no turnovers.

• By the numbers: 7. Nogales has reached the seven-win mark in consecutive years for the first time since the 2006 and 2007 seasons.
