Dean Anna belted two home runs, his first ones of the season, and the Tucson Padres hung on to beat host Fresno 5-4 on Sunday.

Anna hit a two-run shot to right field in the second inning to put the Padres up 2-0. Fresno tied it in the bottom half before back-to-back homers by Jonathan Galvez and Anna in the fifth made it 5-2.

Galvez's long ball was a two-run blast. The second baseman Galvez and shortstop Anna went a combined 5 for 9 with five RBIs.

Anna had the first two-homer game for a Padre since Matt Clark on July 29.

Fresno scored twice off Brad Boxberger in the bottom of the ninth, but he struck out Roger Kieschnick with the tying run at third to seal the victory for Tucson.

It was Boxberger's third save, while starter Tim Stauffer (1-1) earned his first win, allowing two runs on six hits in five innings.

Tucson right-hander Sean O'Sullivan (0-1, 6.14) will face Fresno lefty Michael Kickham (0-1, 6.39) tonight at 7:05.
