Tucson pounded out 14 hits, and four Padres pitchers combined on a seven-hitter Wednesday in a 7-5 win over the host Omaha Storm Chasers.
Four Padres had two hits apiece, and the lineup accounted for eight extra-base hits as Tucson raised its record to 25-21.
The Padres came back to tie the game once before taking the lead for good with two runs in the seventh inning.
Rene Rivera lined a two-run single to center with two outs in the seventh to put Tucson up 6-5. The Padres scored once more in the eighth on Gregorio Petit's RBI double.
Nick Vincent picked up the win in relief of starter Robbie Erlin. Vincent (4-3) pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings, giving up two hits and a walk while striking out one.
Daniel Stange followed with two hitless innings and Miles Mikolas picked up his eighth save with a perfect ninth.
