Tucson pitcher Brandon Kloess was tagged for seven runs on 10 hits in the first four innings Monday in the Padres' 10-1 loss to the host Fresno Grizzlies.

The Grizzlies scored in every inning but the fifth and seventh and finished with 16 hits.

Meanwhile, three Fresno pitchers gave up just five hits, all by starting pitcher Austin Fleet, who struck out six over four innings.

Fresno leadoff batter G. Brown led the Grizzlies with a 4-for-5 performance. He scored four runs and had 1 RBI.

Jaff Decker went 2 for 3 for Tucson and had one RBI.
