Cameron Maybin belted a home run to center field in the 10th inning to lift the Tucson Padres to a 5-4 win over host Reno on Tuesday.

It was the fifth straight win for the Padres (33-26), who return home to face Sacramento at 7:05 Thursday night at Kino Stadium.

The Padres pounded out 16 hits Tuesday - with center fielder Maybin and first baseman Brandon Allen collecting three each - but they also stranded 16 runners.

Gregorio Petit's RBI single in the seventh gave the Padres a 4-2 lead, but Reno tied it in the bottom half of the inning on a two-run triple by Taylor Harbin.

Tucson used seven pitchers, with Jorge Reyes (4-1) getting the win after pitching the ninth. Miles Mikolas worked the 10th to pick up his 10th save.
