The Tucson Padres clubbed five pitchers Sunday for 18 hits to take a 13-5 victory over the host Reno Aces.

Five Tucson batters had at least two hits, including Jesus Merchan (4 for 6, 3 RBIs) and Logan Forsythe (3 for 4, 2 RBIs, 2 runs).

The Padres sent eight batters to the plate in the top of the first inning and scored four runs, with three of them coming on two-out hits by Rene Rivera (3 for 5, 4 RBIs) and Merchan.

Reno's Chris Owings singled in the fifth to extend his PCL-best hitting streak to 21.
