Time may be running out on the Tucson Padres.

Tucson dropped its second straight game at Sacramento on Saturday, falling 11-5.

The Padres are five games behind the first-place River Cats. Las Vegas is in second place, a game behind Sacra-mento.

Tucson jumped to a 4-1 lead in the third inning on Brandon Allen's two-run homer, but Sacramento scored in six straight frames after that, taking the lead for good in the fifth.

Allen and Jonathan Galvez each had three hits for Tucson, which has 16 games left this season.

Sacramento had 18 hits, including a 5-for-5 night from Shane Peterson.
