Colorado Springs scored three runs in the fourth inning Saturday night, and that's all it needed to beat the visiting Tucson Padres 5-2.

With one out, the Sky Sox strung together a single, double, triple and single for the three runs.

The Padres cut the score to 3-2 in the seventh. With two outs, Rene Rivera hit an RBI single, and Jonathan Galvez followed with an RBI double.

Colorado Springs tacked on a run in the bottom of the seventh and another in the eighth.

Chris Volstad improved to 5-1.
