Rain, flooding and a power outage forced the Tucson Padres to postpone Friday night's scheduled game with Salt Lake.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Sunday; first pitch for Game 1 is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Tonight's game will start at 7 p.m. as scheduled

A monsoon storm hit Tucson's south side Friday afternoon, knocking out power at Kino Stadium and flooding both dugouts. Padres officials postponed the game at 4 p.m., three hours before first pitch.

The Triple-A club's weekend series against the Bees is one of the biggest of their season. The Padres trail both Las Vegas and Sacramento in the Pacific Coast League's Pacific South Division.
